A multidisciplinary society for those involved in abortion care. Members include clinicians, researchers and others.

Promote best practice, education, training, and research in abortion care.

Our Aim

The aim of the BSACP shall be to improve the standard of abortion care in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, its Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories.

To remain the principal, authoritative Society for health professionals working in abortion care.

To create a community of like-minded health professionals and provide secure channels of communication for them.

Working as a close-knit community and in partnership with others outside the organisation with similar values and principles.

To support holistic education on abortion for all health professionals and facilitate training for abortion care providers.

To raise standards and promote excellence in abortion care.

To provide expertise in taking forward a progressive policy agenda.

To support holistic education on abortion for all health professionals and facilitate training for abortion care providers.

To facilitate health services research in abortion care, using a questioning and analytical approach.
